Past Tense
What is Past Tense? Past Tense is a sentence used to express events that occurred in the past and have ended in the past. To form a "past tense" sentence, the formula is as follow:
Subject + Verb 2 + Object
Examples :
- Murtadha went to Bandung last week
- Ihsan wrote the story last night
- Arkan fell off his bike 2 days ago
- Yesterday, Ghataf didn't sing in his bedroom
- Did Ganesha go to cinema yesterday?
Present Perfect Tense
What Is Present Prefect Tense? Present Perfect Tense is a form of the verb used to denote an action or situation that has started in the past and is still continuing to the present or has been completed at a certain point in time in the past but whose effect is still continuing. To form a "Present Perfect Tense" sentence, the formula ia as follow:
Subject + have/has + Verb 3
Examples :
- Murtadha has learned english for years
- I haven't seen her today
- Ihsan has worked so hard this week
- Arkan has just eaten
- Has Ghataf just left?
