So, let's check this out! Biography Sultan Hasanuddin was born in Makassar on January 12, 1631. He was born to Sultan Malikussaid, the 15th King of Gowa, with I Sabbe To'mo Lakuntu. Since childhood, his leadership traits can be seen. He is known as a smart figure and he is also good at trading. That's why he has a good trade network up to Makassar, even with foreigners. Sultan Hasanuddin received his religious education at the Bontoala Mosque.
